The RD90 device is a waterproof colour search camera attached to a 90 m cable reel, developed with victim location specialists.

Product details

The RD90 head is used during search and rescue operations to see victims trapped in deep, inaccessible areas, such as wells, crevices, caves, etc., or in hard-to-reach confined spaces. It helps to ascertain their need for assistance and rescue.

It meets operational requirements since many international expert search and rescue teams (INSARAG, Civilian Security, FEMA Task Force, USAR teams, UKSAR, SAR, NGOs, etc.) use LEADER search equipment.

The RD90 device is a colour victim location camera, waterproof to 90 m (also called 'optical instrument') designed to visually locate a person trapped in a deep enclosed space (well, tunnel, mine, etc.). Waterproof, the RD90 camera can be submerged in water to a depth of 90 m, enabling reconnaissance of deep flooded environments. It can be lowered into wells, caves, crevices or under water for all types of inspections by divers up to 90 m below the water level.
