Dry Powder fire extinguishers are built for mixed fire risk environments, and are especially suited for flammable liquids and fires involving flammable gases such as methane, propane, hydrogen, and natural gas amongst others.

It allows for universal use on Class A, B and C risks as well as providing enhanced safety margins. Powder extinguishers should not be used indoors unless an appropriate risk assessment has been undertaken and their usage has been specifically recommended for that application.
